2013 was a year of FAMILY. Focusing on the well-being of the children. I spent the first half of the year getting adjusted to work-life balance with a new kid. I somehow survived juggling the 2 kids with Justin in Shreveport and the second half of the year together as a family adjusting to working from home and finding the best childcare for my children. We bought our first home. We went on our first vacation post honeymoon and kids. We witnessed Ryan's first milestones. We got the best of "terrible twos". Rachel and Ryan had their first plane ride. We attended several weddings and welcomed new baby cousins (Taylor and Matthew) and new baby friends (Isabella,Cameron, Chloe). We celebrated my brother's 40th birthday and my dad's 10 year anniversary of his passing. 2013 can be summarized best with the word ADJUSTMENT - adjusting to a family of four, adjusting to a new home, adjusting to a new city, adjusting to a new work environment. Change is inevitable. Change is good. Looking forward to making more memories in 2014.
This is the best time of the year to reflect and adjust goals. Looking back on the last 10 years:

2007-2009 - Chicago for Masters, living by myself and "finding myself"
2010 - Married
2011 - Rachel
2012 - Ryan
2013 - Family
2014 - TBD
