Saturday Run

The kids came out to a 5k Saturday morning to see me before we headed straight to the air show. Ran 6 miles with the Saturday group, killed time for an hour then had a small 5k around the neighborhood to benefit a fellow runner's husband who passed away from cancer. So small that it listed me as first place. Too bad they didn't have my age and categorized me as 16 and under. I corrected them and still got 2nd in the 30-34 age group. Go figure! Definitely an ego buster! Anyways, 9 miles total for the day justified my splurging on food and alcohol for the day!
