See these incident/accident reports above? In one week Ryan bit a kid 3 times and got bit once. In his defense, he has 4 teeth coming in at the same time, but still no excuse. I know that at this age it's how they communicate - - getting mad when someone takes their toy, but in one incident he apparently bit the kid for no reason. They were just sitting there. The daycare never tells you who hit/bit one another, but you can typically figure it out. And the girl he has bit a few times is Justin's friends daughter. They talked about it and luckily that mom didn't care...kids will be kids. However, whenever Rachel gets hurt she always defaults to "Max hit me".
At this age all we can really do is redirect him and tell him it's not nice. Hopefully the biting will stop...have witnessed him bite Rachel once!
