A few months ago when I was leaving the house a lot for a meeting or training of some sort Rachel would always say "You gonna come back?" and my response would always be "yes, I'm coming back. I always come back." This would comfort the kids to let me leave. It is such a relief that they are used to us leaving them now without the crying. Ryan always wants to close the door for me as I step out and blows kisses through the window. Then, when I come home they say "You came back!".
