Rachel, the exterminator

Last weekend there was a wasp in the house. I was in the room putting Ryan down for a nap and then Rachel runs in screaming "there's a bug". This wakes Ryan who was just about to fall asleep and I pick him up to get him back to sleep as I walk out and kill it. It was dying so it was easy to catch. I tell Rachel that I will be back to clean it up.

Well, 5 minutes later I walk out and she says "It's ok Mommy. I already cleaned it up." I go and see that the wasp is gone and start to freak out that my daughter is touching a dead wasp and looked in the trashcan and find this. She had pulled the diaper bag down from the kitchen counter, got the baby wipes (probably 5) and picked it up. WOW. I was shocked and washed her hands.

I cannot stand bugs of any sort. And Justin has been good with the kids in making them not freak out like I do, but he may need to teach them some distance. Rachel had no fear getting near the wasp when it was alive to show me where it was! Well, at least I have my kids to kills bugs for me now:)
