We did our normal Christmas visit at the cemetery to visit Dad and Steph. The weather was horrible so we literally got out, prayed and left. Christmas time is all about family and being surrounded by those you love. My heart goes out to all the families experiencing their first Christmas without a loved one. It is really hard.
I know Francesca is only 10 years old, but she gets it. After we pray we sometimes talk to them. I said "Hey Steph, look how tall your daughter is and how big all your nieces are." And Francesca had tears to her eyes. Luckily Uncle J.R. was there to make her laugh!
