We had a productive weekend getting a bunk bed and choosing a crib. AND we "started" looking at registry stuff, but not too serious. The "Baby Bargains" book that Irene gave us is great - gives you the low down on everything from recalls to reputation to pricing, etc. Goal is to dive in more this week!
While bottles, car seats, etc. are important, I love looking at clothes and seeing if the deals at Zulily are worth the buy. The problem is....should you buy it or not? Kid may not even grow into it by the season. So for now, I just look:) And I've received some crazy catalogs for children clothing - seriously, who pays $75-$200 for a dress for kids?
ok---24 week pic to come soon - need to take one!

i love zulily! you can find such good deals on there! buying ahead should be fine as long as you keep in mind what season it is for that size. it's good to stock up, but i would recommend for sizes 3-6 months and up b/c newborns are swaddled up most of the time so they only need a few cute outfits for going out or pictures. it's so hard not to buy kids clothes b/c there are so many cute ones but every season there are even more cute clothes and they always go on sale or have coupons too! i rarely ever pay full price for sophia's clothes!
i know this is a long way from now but would also recommend stocking up on winter stuff when it's out. i've found that sometimes when i'm looking for more warm clothes during the middle/end of winter season there's not much since the stores already have their spring lines out. lol i know that was random. haha :)
Thanks for the advice mommy!
