Great Semester

So this semester has by far been the most interesting with my Global Logistics (Supply Chain) and Political Marketing class.

Thus far I have had numerous VP/C-Level guest speakers in respect to Operations and a field trip to The Pampered Chef.

My Political Marketing class, in addition to working with hardcore Democrats, has given me the opportunity to attend:

1) Forum Examines Chicago’s Top Political Bloggers Forum- Phil Ponce will moderate a panel of bloggers featuring: Eric Zorn of the Chicago Tribune, Rich Miller of capitolfax, Georgia Logothetis of dailykos, Fran Eaton of illinoisreview, and Blake Dvorak of realclearpolitics.

2) CAF (Chicago Ad Federation) Political Roundtable - “Countdown to November: The Press talks about the Presidential Election”. Panelists include: Rick Pearson, Political Reporter, The Chicago Tribune; John Bussey, Washington Bureau Chief, The Wall Street Journal; Judy Keen, Chicago Bureau Chief, USA TODAY; Dick Ciccone, Adjunct Professor of Journalism, University of Notre Dame (Moderator).

3) Field Trip to Obama's Campaign Headquarters - Instead of lecture we were given the opportunity to tour the place a few blocks away. I was surprised at how young everyone was and how many people were working these 80+ hr shifts! 35 days away.....

Obama it is....
