Empowerment

'I can do it' is often said by my 2 yo daughter. 

I can pour the cereal (and spill it everywhere). 

I can put my clothes on (and put a shirt on as pants). 

I can put my shoes on(sometimes on the right foot). 

So what does a parent do? Give her choices. You want this or that?
